Creamed corn
忌廉粟米
Tinned cream-style corn: kernels crushed with a little starch and sugar, and no cream in it. Corn with diced pork, corn with fish fillet and corn soup all rest on it, and the Hong Kong original uses the tin. On the tinned-vegetable shelf at Coles and Woolworths (Edgell, for example, 410 to 420 g).

- The tin is already salted and sweetened; taste before seasoning.
