Method
Rinse the 蓮子 (lotus seeds), 百合 (dried lily bulb), 茯神 (poria) and 圓肉 (dried longan) Cut the lean pork into large pieces and blanch it (汆水, a quick boil to clean off blood and scum), then set it aside Put everything in the pot with 2 litres of water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat Turn the heat low, simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours and season with salt
